Maersk Invincible將在北海Valhall油田進行生產作業

COPENHAGEN, Denmark – Maersk Drilling’s fourth XL Enhanced ultra harsh environment jackup has undergone a naming ceremony at the Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DSME) shipyard in South Korea.The Maersk Invincible is the fourth and final newbuild ultra harsh environment jackup to join Maersk Drilling’s fleet. The combined cost was $2.6 billion.Keppel FELS delivered the first three, while DSME will deliver the Invincible later this year.It will then sail to the Norwegian North Sea to start a five-year firm contract with Aker BP for P&A work on the Valhall field.Claus V. Hemmingsen, CEO of Maersk Drilling, said: “These highly advanced drilling rigs enable us to provide safe and efficient drilling operations to our customers on the Norwegian market.”
