必和必拓和墨國油簽署合同開發Trion油田

中國石化新聞網訊 據道瓊斯悉尼3月3日消息，必和必拓公司表示，公司已經與墨西哥國家石油公司PEMEX簽署一份合同將推進墨西哥灣Trion深水石油發現的開發工作。
澳大利亞采礦公司必和必拓公司去年12月份贏得了該項目的競標，從而成為墨西哥2013年開放石油領域以來墨國油在勘探和開采方面的首個私有合作伙伴。
必和必拓表示，公司預計Trion是過去十年中墨西哥灣發現的十大油田之一，協議包括最少工作計劃承諾，包括鉆取一個評價井、一個勘探井和收集額外的地震勘測數據。

SYDNEY–BHP Billiton Ltd. (BHP.AU) said it has signed a contract with Mexican state oil company Petroleos Mexicanos, or Pemex, to advance work on the Trion deepwater oil discovery in the Gulf of Mexico.
Australia-based miner BHP in December won the bidding on the project to become Pemex’s first private partner in exploration and production under Mexico’s 2013 opening of the oil industry.
BHP, which said it expects Trion to be one of the top 10 fields discovered in the Gulf of Mexico in the past decade, said the agreement includes a minimum-work program commitment to drill one appraisal well, one exploration well and acquire additional seismic data.
