外媒：液化天然氣仍然處于日本能源未來的前沿

中國石化新聞網訊 據國外媒體3月9日倫敦報道，為了滿足日本國內未來的能源需求，日本最大公司之一的三井物產日前強調了穩定LNG供應的重要性。
日本三井物產能源業務部門首席運營官Hirotatsu Fujiwara說，LNG和天然氣在全球低碳經濟中將繼續長期扮演重要的角色。
他還表示，不管可再生能源預計每年可能穩步增長2%的事實，化石燃料，尤其是LNG即使到2040年仍將繼續是滿足日本能源需求的重要來源。
作為世界上最大的LNG進口國（其進口量占全球總供應量近三分之一），日本依賴穩定和可靠的LNG供應。在本國已導致電力公司之間新競爭的電力市場自由化以后，日本的零售天然氣市場也計劃在2017年實施自由化，這使得今年成為日本能源市場最關鍵的一年。

Mitsui & Co, one of Japan’s largest companies, has underlined the importance of a stable liquefied natural gas (LNG) supply in order to fulfil future energy demand in Japan.
Chief operating officer of Energy Business Unit II of Mitsui & Co, Hirotatsu Fujiwara, said: “LNG and gas will continue to play an important role long-term in a low-carbon global economy.”
He also stated that regardless of the fact it is forecasted that renewable energy may grow at a steady 2 percent per year, fossil fuels, especially LNG, will continue to be a significant source for meeting energy demand even in 2040.
As the world’s largest importer of LNG – importing nearly one third of all global supplies – Japan relies on stable and trustworthy supplies of LNG. Following liberalisation of its electricity market, which has led to new competition among electric utilities, Japan’s retail gas market is also planned to be liberalised in 2017, which makes this year one of the most pivotal in the country’s energy market.
