Speaking to reporters at the Asia Oil & Gas Conference in the capital, Petronas CEO Wan Zulkiflee Wan Ariffin said, “we are committed to continue with the same production cut” if there is an extension of the arrangement. Petronas had announced in December last year that it will reduce its crude oil output by up to 20,000 barrels per day in 2017 from last year’s average production following an agreement with OPEC and non-OPEC members to reduce global supply of crude oil.
