DJ Russia Energy Minister Says OPEC, Non-OPEC Producers Discussing Monitoring Exports By Summer Said OPEC members and producers outside the group are discussing a proposal to monitor crude oil exporters but that would not replace output quotas, Russian energy minister Alexander Novak said Friday.
“We are discussing [oil-export monitoring] but there are difficulties from the point of view of data accuracy,” he told reporters in Vienna.
“On the whole we are not against it as an additional factor, the main factor is production,” he added.
