????US refiners are set to see a jump of at least 15% in profits in 2018 and 2019, a margin that would be about 20% higher than the average over the past decade, according to Evercore ISI. Energy analysts at Evercore have the equivalent of a buy rating on all US refining and marketing equities. Global growth in demand from 2017 to 2019 will reach 4.1 million barrels a day, and excess capacity is about 3 million barrels a day, leading to a positive outlook for refiners, according to Evercore.
