The project will increase Bu Hasa’s output capacity by about a fifth to 650,000 b/d once Technicas Reunidas has completed its 39-month engineering, procurement and construction contract for the operator ADNOC Onshore, state-owned producer ADNOC said in a statement Wednesday. “This significant investment in the Bu Hasa field will enable production capacity to be increased and generate additional value,” said Sultan Al Jaber, ADNOC group chief executive in the statement. Bu Hasa is part of Abu Dhabi’s plan to ramp up output capacity in the coming years.
