Daqing Oilfield solved the world-class problem of apheresis well scaling with ASP flooding

On February 23, from the manager ministry of chemical combination flooding project in Daqing Oilfield, reporter got the news that oil production of Daqing Oilfield was 3.509 million tons with ASP flooding in 2015, increasing by 266,000 tons than that as planned. This achievement was inseparable from solve of the world-class problem that apheresis well was easy to scale during ASP flooding.

ASP flooding technology is an important method for Daqing Oilfield to enhance oil recovery in the late period of high water cut. But during the injection of ternary system, the scaling problem of oil well is serious. At the peak of scaling, pump inspection cycle is only dozens of days and scaling proportion could reach more than 70% for the apheresis well with ASP flooding. This becomes the largest “side effect” of ASP flooding. It could not produce continually and influence the application of this technology if the scaling problem was not solved.

But through the integrated governance model, pump inspection during chemical flooding in Daqing Oilfield improved compared with that in 2011. Pump inspection cycle of strong alkali extended 88 days to reach 383 days and cycle of weak alkali extended 59 days to reach 467 days. At the same time, pump inspection rate decreased 37.6% and 24.6%to reach 58.1% 47.8% separately, creating the highest level of history.
It is reported that Shkolnik Vladimir Sergeyevich, minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Wang Dongjin, deputy general manager of CNPC agreed on setting up a working group to study the expansion of oil export to China, including the oil price formula agreement in Alashankou. At present, the working group is working on the expansion of pipeline, oil price formula in the border between China and Kazakhstan and decrease of oil freight price by adopting same net price.

By solving the scaling problem, the produced chemical fluid could be guaranteed to flow from the wellhead to the ground smoothly all the way. This year, oil production with ASP flooding in Daqing Oilfield is aimed at 4 million tons.
