Life Extension Project of Shengli oilfield Platform won an international award

Recently, compared with hundreds of projects, the Life Extension Security Engineering Project of Chengdao oilfield Platform won the innovation award in the marine field at the International Maritime Engineering meeting which was held in Beijing.

The subject of Life Extension Security Engineering Project of Chengdao oilfield Platform carried out large-scale engineering applications on the basis of platform test, safety assessment, mitigation control, monitoring and early warning which were needed in the life extension security engineering of fixed platform in shallow sea. It was China’s first demonstration project of life extension Security Engineering in the large shallow sea oilfield. In addition, it extended the life of 50 offshore platforms, created over 1.5 billion of economic benefits in the last three years and produced more than 5 million tons of offshore oil. It not only provided important technical support for the oil and gas production safety of Shengli offshore oil field, but also made an important contribution for the cost decline and efficiency increase at low oil price.
