Brazil Pumping Oil At Record Levels
As OPEC continues to cut output other producers are recording record production figures, according to Olivier Jakob from the Switzerland-based Petromatrix. In a note, the analyst says that Brazilian oil production hit a record 2.73 million barrels a day in December, up 198,000 b/d year-on-year. Fourth quarter output was 215,000 b/d up from the corresponding period of 2015.
