Pioneer Natural Sees More Export Opportunities
With the oil export ban lifted, Pioneer Natural Resources (PXD) is continuing to ramp up its export activity. PXD says it plans to export two 525,000 barrel cargoes to Asia in the next few weeks. The oil-and-gas producer said it also sees export opportunities in Europe and South America, and expects activity to grow as the company works to increase its output to 1 million barrels a day over the next 10 years. “We need to be an exporter of 700,000 barrels a day when the time comes,” chief executive Timothy Dove said.
