馬國油考慮重新對Pacific Northwest LNG項目進行選址

中國石化新聞網訊 據道瓊斯2月13日消息，馬新社報導，馬來西亞國家石油公司Petronas或考慮重新選擇位于加拿大BC省的Pacific Northwest液化天然氣（LNG）出口終端項目的地址。馬新社引用馬國油董事長Mohd Sidek Hassan的話報導，如果加拿大監管部門認為該項目必須移址，馬國油將重新進行選址。在經歷了長達三年的包括環保人士在內的不同組織的反對以及監管部門的評估后，去年9月份馬國油獲得加政府的批準推進該項目。

Malaysian state oil company Petronas may consider relocating its Pacific Northwest liquefied natural gas export terminal project in British Columbia, Canada, reports state news agency Bernama. Citing Petronas Chairman Mohd Sidek Hassan, Bernama says that Petronas would relocate if Canadian authorities find the move necessary. Petronas got approval from the Canadian government to proceed with the project in September, after three years of opposition from various groups including environmentalists, as well as regulatory reviews.
