波蘭不久將開建Hermanowice至Strachocina天然氣管道

Poland to start Hermanowice-Strachocina gas pipeline construction

Construction will soon start on the 72-km (45-mile) Hermanowice-Strachocina gas pipeline which is an important element in integrating the Polish gas network with the Slovakian and Ukrainian systems, the Polish natural gas transmission system operator, Gaz-System, said Thursday.
“The aim of the project is to increase the energy security of the country and the modernization and expansion of the transmission system in southeast Poland. The investment is of great importance in the context of the planned construction of a new gas pipeline between Poland and Ukraine,” Gaz-System said in a statement.
Gaz-System said it has selected PGNiG Technologie to build the EU-backed pipeline following a tender. The investment will cost Zloty 288 million ($70.5 million) and is scheduled to be completed in 2019, the TSO said.
The Hermanowice-Strachocina line will be part of the eastern section of the EU-backed North-South Gas Corridor, which connects the LNG terminal in Swinoujscie with the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and the planned Adria LNG terminal in Croatia.
