Citi Sees Oil Above $60 By Year’s End Analysts at Citi predict crude could top $60 a barrel by year end. “We expect sizeable inventory draws to materialize as the effects of the OPEC cut begin to be felt even as US production ramps up,” they write. Citi’s base price outlook puts Brent, the global oil benchmark, at $65 a barrel by the end of 2017, and US crude at $62.
