“The transaction completes the transformation of DONG Energy into a leading, pure renewables company,” DONG CEO Henrik Poulsen said.
The deal also comprises a contingent payment of $150 million related to the Fredericia oil terminal, which stabilizes gas output from the Hejre field, and a contingent payment of up to $100 million subject to the development of the Rosebank oil field in the UK West of Shetland area.
Closing of the transaction is subject to regulatory and certain other third-party approvals and is expected to take place in the third quarter.
