The 14 members are expected to produce 32.8 million barrels a day of crude this month, down 419,000 barrels a day from July, when production hit its highest daily average so far this year, according to tanker-tracking firm Petro-Logistics. The cartel’s exports fell by 750,000 barrels a day in the first half of August, with decreased flows from Middle Eastern and African members, while exports from Latin America rose, Petro-Logistics said. OPEC implemented production cuts in January, targeting historically high global stocks, but has struggled to maintain lower output due to an increase in production from Nigeria and Libya which were exempt from the deal. ?
