The acquisition covers Mangazeya unit OOO Chernichnoye, which holds the hydrocarbon exploration and production license for the field in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District. Mangazeya expects production from Chernichnoye field to peak by 2020 at 3.7 billion cu m/year of gas and more than 133,000 tonnes/year of condensate. The field is close to Novatek’s transportation and processing system.
