原文如下: U.S. Oil Supplies Fall as Fuel Supplies Rise U.S. inventories of crude oil fell for the week ended Jan. 5, while supplies of processed fuels increased, according to data released Wednesday by the Energy Information Administration. Crude-oil stockpiles dropped by 4.9 million barrels to 419.5 million barrels, and remain in the middle of the average range for this time of year, the EIA said. Analysts surveyed by The Wall Street Journal had predicted crude supplies would fall by 2.5 million barrels on the week. Oil stored at Cushing, Okla., the delivery point for U.S. stocks, decreased by 2.4 million barrels to 46.6 million barrels, the EIA said in its weekly report. Gasoline stockpiles climbed 4.1 million barrels to 237.3 million barrels, while analysts in the survey were expecting levels to rise by 2.5 million barrels from the previous week. Distillate stocks, which include heating oil and diesel fuel, increased by 4.3 million barrels to 143.1 million barrels, which is in the middle of the average range, the EIA said.
