The withdrawal was more than an S&P Global Platts’ survey of analysts calling for a 109-Bcf withdrawal. The pull was below the 142-Bcf withdrawal reported during the corresponding week in 2017 as well as the five-year-average pull of 151 Bcf, according to EIA data.
As a result, stocks were 503 Bcf, or 19.5%, below the year-ago level of 2.581 Tcf.
