The data pegs Eagle Ford output in May at 1.3M bpd, or 24k bpd more than this month. The Eagle Ford remains a distant second to the US’s top oil-producing region, the Permian Basin of west Texas, which is seen producing 3.2M bpd next month, up 73k bpd m/m. But some analyst predict the Eagle Ford could begin growing faster than the Permian before too long given the Permian’s problems that include not enough pipelines and other infrastructure. ?
