Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. disclosed Tuesday that it was appointed by Australia’s Woodside Energy Ltd. to work as part of an engineering panel to provide multi-disciplinary engineering services for Woodside’s onshore and offshore assets for a period of two years.
Under the contract, Jacobs has the ability to deliver concept, front end engineering and design (FEED) and detail design activities, engineering assessments and engineering support services for maintenance and operations.
Woodside is an Australian oil and gas company and one of the largest liquefied natural gas (LNG) producers in Australia, with a global presence as an explorer, developer, producer and supplier. Woodside’s developing and producing portfolio includes assets across Australia’s West Coast, Canada and Timor Leste.
In making the announcement, Jacobs Senior Vice President Steve Axcell stated, “We are very pleased to be a part of this new panel venture with Woodside, which strengthens our position in the oil and gas industry in Australia. We are excited to engage our local and international capabilities, including our global integrated delivery model to support the successful delivery of safe, cost effective projects to Woodside.”
