Equinor Net Profit Up Sharply on Higher Prices Equinor ASA (EQNR.OS) on Thursday posted a sharp rise in third-quarter net profit, as the Norwegian oil-and-gas major continued to cut costs and benefited from a rise in oil-and-gas prices. Net profit rose to $1.67 billion from a loss of $480 million, Revenue rose 40% on the year to $18.99 billion.
