On the afternoon of March 23rd, the 2015 annual achievements of PetroChina are announced in Hong Kong. By the end of December 31st, 2015, the company achieves a turnover of 1725.428 billion yuan, decreasing 24.4 percent from the previous year. Under the circumstances of oil prices dropping by nearly half and continuous down regulation of domestic refined oil product and natural gas prices, it still achieves net profit of 35.517 billion yuan attributable to the shareholders of parent company, and basic earnings of 0.19 yuan per share.
