Coring rate reached 100% with drilling rotary method in Logging Company of Bohai Drilling and Exploration Company
On March 22, C1258 team of Logging Company of Bohai Drilling and Exploration Company completed the sidewall coring task of Zao 1518 well successfully. With 3799m of depth and 6-inch of wellbore, coring rate reached 100% as all the 25 cores were acquired successfully, making the new domestic record of rotary coring of slim hole firstly.
As the technology expert and senior coring technician of Bohai Drilling and Exploration Company, Yin Hongzhi expressed that the success coring of Zao 1518 not only broke the problem of coring in the deep well with small wellbore and accumulated successful experience in the rotary sidewall coring in complex deep well with small wellbore, but also showed the technical strength of Logging Company of Bohai Drilling and Exploration Company.
