CNPC made rich achievements in the development technology of beach sea

On April 5, it took five years for the demonstration project of development technology of beach sea in Huanghua Depression of Bohai Bay Basin to achieve success. Two demonstration zones including Nanpu beach sea and Qikou beach sea were built, in addition, four new theoretical understandings were made and five key technologies were achieved.
Demonstration project of development technology of beach sea in Huanghua Depression of Bohai Bay Basin was a part of national science and technology major project named the development of major oil and gas fields and coal-bed methane. Cooperating with 5 research institutes

including Research Institute of Science and Technology of China National Petroleum and other universities, Jidong Oilfield Company and Dagang Oilfield Company took the project and more than 600 scientists did the research about the project.

Considering complexity and diversity of reservoir and environment of beach sea, the construction team made the innovation and solved the problems in the field of marine engineer, reservoir, drilling, production continually to ensure the safe, environmental, economic and effective development of beach sea. It realized the development integration of beach sea and built two demonstration zones including Nanpu and Qikou with 230 development wells and 1.057 million tons of oil production.
