The world’s most advanced offshore life service platform No.4 Gaode undocks in Qidong of Nantong

On the morning of 5, the world’s most advanced semi-submersible offshore life service platform No. 4 Gaode undocks successfully in COSCO (Qidong) Marine Engineering Limited Company. In the next stage, it will carry out the outfitting operation.

No. 4 Gaode has the total length of 95 meters, the molded breadth of 67 meters, the molded depth of 35.7 meters, a height of nearly 60 meters and a maximum displacement of 3300 tons. As a marine life service platform, No. 4 Gaode is the marine facility which meets the most specifications, demands the most and possesses the most advanced equipment in similar products of the world, which is designed for Mexico COTEMAR Company. It can provide room for 750 crew members to live in, and also reserve the living module installation location for 240 people, which means that when necessary the platform can accommodate nearly one thousand people.
